About Us

The Rotary Club of Salamanca Sunrise was chartered in 1993 as Tasmania’s first breakfast Club and first mixed gender Club. The gender balance has been maintained over the years and the relaxed atmosphere that the Club’s founding members established is based on an absence of the baggage of tradition: we do not sing the national anthem or state the Rotary Grace.

We value every member’s input and strive to reinvent ourselves to keep ourselves fresh and relevant to our community which we assist by:

• financially supporting people and organizations
• fund raising
• providing help in a hands on way both locally and Internationally
