Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) – 2014
RYLA is an intensive training programme for young people in the community aged 18 to 30 years. Participants attend a residential camp where they experience a variety of fun and challenging activities. Each RYLA camp is adapted to local needs, but designed to help participants develop strong personal and leadership qualities.Read more

All District 9830 Rotary Clubs are asked to nominate and sponsor suitable participants for this most effective training and self-development experience.
RYLA usually takes place in Ulverstone, in May each year.

Our club coordinates and provides a team of four volunteers to work on Loui’s Van every fourth Wednesday night. There is a great sense of camaraderie whilst preparing rolls, sandwiches, soup and hot drinks to take to two city locations, to provide food and friendship to people on the streets.
